Windchild Series (2017)

Windchild Series is a collection of experimental music videos featuring Xhead, a robot-character-based band whose members wear spaceship-like helmets. Blurring the boundaries between sound, performance, and technology, the series explores how gesture and touch can generate music and meaning.

Fruity Arduino transforms everyday fruits into instruments, connecting organic textures with digital sound through Arduino sensors.

Elf Carry Hit x 3 reinterprets the classic Monkey King theme, performed spontaneously on a car, merging myth and machine, rhythm and rebellion.

Developed through the artists’ engagement with Qingcong Rehabilitation Education Center in Guangzhou (广州市青聪康复教育中心) — an organization serving children with autism, ADHD, learning, speech, and developmental challenges. The artists then brought their practice back to the music classroom with the children in two session workshops.

At its core, Windchild embodies the dialogue between body and circuit, play and perception, a choreography of connection that listens, and the effort to bridge the sensorial worlds of human neurodiversity.
